Orange?

I have pretty much decided what my wedding colors are going to be except that orange has always been both my and my FI's favorite color and it is not included in the colors.  Any suggestions for what would go well with orange?  I am not creative enough to just come up with a combination so I have to see something first before I think of it.

I was first thinking of orange, red, and brown accents on mostly white decor but we're planning a summer wedding and I feel like it would look too fall-ish.  Plus, my sister is having brown dresses this summer and my sister-in-law had red dresses this past fall.  I am not going to put my maids in orange dresses so I don't know how I would pull that one off without copying them.

Any suggestions?

We're doing sunset colors- pink, orange, yellow, coral etc. Would something along those lines work? I agree that brown is too fall-like. I would stay away from reds and browns since it's a summer wedding and you don't want to copy your family too closely.

I should have mentioned too that I was in a wedding last summer that the colors were orange and fucshia so that's out of the question too.  The sunset idea sounds pretty though!

I'm doing purple, black and silvery/gray with pops of orange. My flowers/MOH flowers are orange. Centerpieces and various items in the reception area are orange as well. It's my favorite color but FI is not a fan so I made sure purple was the main color. I'm having an evening, summer, wedding indoors.

Bright orange, lime green and yellow.  Very bright and vibrant for a summer time wedding.

We are doing light pink, orange, and a dark purple

For our April wedding, my girls wore knee-length black dresses of their choosing and our flowers were used for our accent colors - orange and emerald green (our fave colors).  The flowers popped!

Orange can go with a lot of different colors. You can pair it with any color blue... from like a Malibu or a Navy or you could pair it with a shade of purple... from royal purple to an eggplant, depending on what you like. You could always add a third color for accent (like a pop of yellow to brighten up or an ivory or champagne for a more elegant feel). Here are some pics to help...

I love orange with blue and cream.  You could do mostly orange with hints of blue and cream...it would have a summery look and feel.

My original plan was to do royal blue and white with pops of pink (mostly just flowers) but now I might just replace the pink with orange since I LOVE tiger lilies  Good thing I still have a lot of time to decide!
