My wedding is taking place in an unbelievably large warehouse. The reception and ceremony are in the same place, unseparated by walls. We're separating the two ares by handing a piece of sheer white fabric between them and having the ceremony in front of the window (which has an absolutely gorgeous view, btw). There is a door on the side where we will be having ushers direct them through so they don't have to go through the reception setup, but the bridal party will be entering through the door parallel to the ceremony, which takes us through the reception decorations.
After the ceremony we will be exiting out that same way, just the two of us, but we haven't figured out a transition to get the guests from the ceremony to the reception without making them wander around, but without a recieving line. I'm nearly tempted to just rent out the warehouse next to it, but it's too much money and too much space, it would make the reception look puny, much less the ceremony. My current guest list is around 50 people so far, and doesn't seem like it will grow.
