Bridal Party and Groom/Bride Entrance Songs

Hey all,

I just wanted some feedback to see if this was a good idea.  I was thinking it would be fun to have the bridal party enter the reception to the song "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce and my finance and I will enter to the beginning of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica.  I like the bells at the beginning of that song, then enter once the music starts.  Tell me what you girls think!!

Thank you!!

Re: Bridal Party and Groom/Bride Entrance Songs

  • the only people who are gonna care are the bride and groom, and possibly the parents...check with them....

I learned this recently when i told my mom that I was planning on wearing purple pumps under my dress...super cute, but she flipped out and was like no your not you're wearing matching shoes....dumb i know but it apparently mattered to her, you never know with parents

  • Unless Beyonce punched one of your guests in the face at some point and that song causes traumatic flashbacks, I don't think it really matters.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • just wanted some advice..
  • to me, the entrance songs define you as a couple so you want a strong song that everyone will turn their head. Metallica is ALWAYS a good choice! Me and my soon-to-be husband are doing our first dance to "All or Nothing" by Theory of A Deadman.
  • I love that Beyonce song! I have to admit I don't know the Metallica song. But if it makes you happy, then do it! I guess the one thing I would think of is, for me, I wouldn't use the Beyonce song as the entrance because I would want to play it during the dancing part - that one always gets everyone out on the floor. Good luck with your choice.
