Colours/Theme

Our wedding is May 2013 & I'm torn between 2 colour idea/themes. First colours/theme is black, white, accent colour: green & the damask print. Second colours/theme is black,white, green & gray. Anyone been to a wedding with either colours? I really like the damask print in general, my worry is if I choose to use that print, I'm very limited with decorating options. If I go with just the 4 colours, I can use different textures, patterns, prints, different shades of green/gray, etc... The bridesmaid dresses are black so I can really go either way, I would like to have either all white flowers, or possible green & white.  If I go with the 4 colours, my ideas for decorating & invites will be really spring inspired... Any tips/opinions would be great!

I like the first idea of black, white, damask and green...especially with that apple green in the pictures.   I do not like the grey floral table cloth and do not think it reads spring.

I like the black/white/green with damask idea, and I think it would look really pretty.   I agree that it might limit you as far as decorating goes, but damask is EVERYWHERE right now, so I don't think it will be too hard.  If you're worried, you could just do black, white, and green with damask and other black/white colors/textures.

I'm interested to see how you plan to do green flowers.

Love the damask theme!  The grey table cloth doens't seem cost effective so I wouldn't do it. 

I also do not see how you would be limited with damask.  You could do the invitations in it, the menu, the escort cards, the programs...so all your stationary, table runner like in picture which would go great with your centerpiece inspiration, they can use a stencil for your cake to match, you can have the bouquet(s) wrapped in ribbon/fabric with the damask.
