I had planned on having our tables named instead of numbered. However I'm now worried about how guests will find their tables. There will only be eight tables, so even if people have to walk around to find theirs it wouldn't be the end of the world, but I'd like to avoid that if I can.
For those of you who named your tables, what did you do? I could have a seating map on an easel at the front of the room, but I don't know where I would get one printed with a week to go. I was thinking I could make up signs to match the names on the tables themselves, frame them, and set them out on a table near the door in the same arrangement as the tables themselves. Sort of a 3D map.
Is that a terrible idea?
