That's right, free!I have to get rid of my wedding dress (worn at my wedding 2 yrs ago) b/c it is hogging up too much closet space. I feel bad just throwing it away, but I don't want to spend the money/effort to get it cleaned and fixed in order to sell it. If you like it, you can just have it.It is from the Oleg Cassini line at David's Bridal. David's doesn't carry this dress any longer (I believe they carried the dress through 2008), but I think it was about $900 new. It is style # CK118 in the color "champagne", basically an off-white. Size 4, and was tailored to fit me at 5'5"/125-ish lbs with about 2 inch heels (and was honestly a little long for me when I wore it), and also had cups put in the top. It is a two piece design, so the corset top is separate from the bottom...which was nice b/c the weight of the dress was around my waist while wearing it instead of having all of the weight on my ribs/back. Here is a link to a picture of it on a model:
http://reviews.davidsbridal.com/7294/DB1671/reviews.htmIt does need to be cleaned, because the bottom is dirty from dragging on the floor at my wedding. Also, there are one or two spots in the lace hem where I stepped on it and my heel went through the lace. That isn't really noticeable unless you get down on the ground and inspect the bottom, but you could totally put another piece of lace trim down there if it really bothered you. I never looked into the cost of this, so I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it couldn't be more than $200 or so???Anyway, did I mention it was free?!? And, I'm totally willing to maybe have you stop by my office (downtown) during the day or something if you want to try it on.
