Country Theme

Anyone else having a country theme kinda wedding/reception. I would love to hear your ideas and see pictures, colors, flowers etc.


This is what Im doing for our center pices except with gerber dasies.

I have a couple on here, but many other ideas I have gotten came from project wedding. I have found it to be much more helpful in pictures.

Have you done a trial with the gerbs?

I have not I am still trying to find a florist at the moment. I think total for our flowers will be about 15 gerber daisies for the center pices ( we are also doing a flower ceremony) and then my boquet.

do you mean like 15 per can or 15 tables?

we are having 6 tables 2 per guest table and 3 at the family table

we are doing mason jars for drinking out of, our centerpieces are watering cans filled with sunflowers, our seating for the short ceremony is haybales covered in burlap, our reception is being held under a huge beautiful white tent with lots of lights and old lanterns and mason jars with candles in them, really rustic.  also, handmade wooden signs pointing to the reception, the ceremony, the games, etc.  try going to martha stewarts website and looking up country weddings.  and google it.  lots of great ideas out there!

also, our wedding cake will be simliar to this.

You should do a trial with the gerbs because their stems are flimsy and they may not work too well.

I will, your cake is beautiful ( will be) I dont have a picture of ours, the only way i can really describe it is lace, pattern on it. Do  you have your flavor yet?  I love the rustic ideas also, we are going the china paper plate route for table ware since out budget is so tight. Our reception is going to be in a barn and we are making "couches" out of hay bales for seating and to snazz up the place a little bit.
