Dessert Reception Questions

We've decided on a coffee/dessert reception type deal. My question is: what do people do at those types of receptions? I've only been to ones where a full dinner was served, so I know how those go down. Cocktails, dinner, dancing, bouquet/garter toss, etc. How does a dessert reception work?

We're hosting one too, for 2 hours. We're going to let all the guests get there (at a separate location from Ceremony) and then we'll do a grand entrance of only the groom and I. We'll go right into our first dance. Then our paster will do prayer/blessing of the treats, we'll open the buffet line, and spend the rest of our time mingling with everyone. We're not doing tosses, and maybe only one or two toasts.
