I'm new here and also newly engaged, but I want to get on planning. Better to have more time than not enough, right? I want to use the papaya and olive theme off of this site for my wedding. However, it's not at a beach, but at Padonia Park in MD. I was wondering how I could incorporate the colors into something that doesn't look bad with the already beautiful park. We're getting married at a gazebo on the lake and it's going to be a late afternoon/early evening event.

Most people incorporate their colors through the BM dresses, the GM tuxes, the flowers, any ceremony decor you might have like programs and an arch or aisle runner.  Then for the reception, it would be tied in through your centerpieces and linens.  Just start looking at wedding bios and pictures and get ideas for what you like and what you want your wedding and reception to be like.

Also, when searching for pictures online, use the basic color words orange and green rather than papaya and olive.
