Hi everyone. I'm looking for some old pewter/silver vases (don't have to match) to put flowers in as centerpieces for my 1930s/40s, old Hollywood themed wedding. Our color scheme is black, white and pewter, so I thought this vase would go nicely. Something like this: 


I've already checked Ebay and Amazon. Hopefully you all will have some better ideas.

Valspar (and probably other companies, but this is what I found first) make a spray paint that gives a metallic finish when dried. I'm doing something similar to turn a vase I love into "mercury glass" using a mirror finish spray paint.

You could find glass or ceramic vases you like, and then use this paint to create a vintage, pewter look. This could be worth a shot if you don't find anything already made!

Is a pedestal bowl an option? Aside from being lower and wider, these are almost identical and may fit into your vision.  I liked them, but FH prefers clear over silver.  I also found them to be some of the most cost effective.

I'm a bit more partial to the taller silver/pewter vases myself. Thank for the spray paint trip cdbrady89! I may have to try that

my friend had pewter and pink as her wedding color and she used mirror vases for her flowers for center peices and it looked so nice and fit into her theme. Just an idea.

Mirror vases? I don't know that I've ever heard of those. I'll have to look it up on google. Thanks for the idea!
