Seating Chart.

Do we have to have a seating chart?? We are having a very casual reception, BBQ etc. I dont like the idea of telling people where they have to sit.. when they will be up and visiting and stuff the whole time anyways. i would like them to sit and mingle with both sides of thefamily.

Did anyone not have a seating arrangement?

You never have to have anything. Remember this is your wedding, however; part of being a good host is making sure everyone that attends is comfortable and has a good time.  If you think some people would rather sit with others and some guests want to steer clear of others than I would have a seating chart.
Speaking of which, does anyone know when we're going to have our seating chart back in the guest list manager?

For a casual reception like that they aren't necessary. But you may want to designate a table for your wedding party and other VIPs, so that grandma doesn't get stuck on the other side of the room by the DJ's speakers.
