I'm having a bit of indecisiveness with my reception menu. I'd really like to have a buffet dinner for everyone that's coming, with a couple of different options (chicken, fish, the standards); on the other hand, my mom would like to do appetizers or hors d'oeuvres and keep things relaxed, and I can see the benefits of doing that too.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a middle ground? Like something in between dinner and appetizers? The only thing I can think of is, like, slider burgers and those kinds of finger foods that could be considered dinner, but I'd love to go a little classier (and preferrably not too much fried food).
