Re: removed

  • Why does he want a big head table?  Don't let him get away with saying, "Because that's how it's done."  Find out what he's really after, and find a way to satisfy that deeper need without giving in to the superficial demand.

It's rude to split up couples, especially if someone in the WP has expressed a problem with it.  Ask your FI if he really wants to insult your MOH, the guest who is supposed to be one of the most highly honored, by separating her from her date when the other guests get to sit with theirs.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Why not a compromise?  The big head table where the dates of the WP sit on the opposite side of them?

If you can't talk him out of a head table, have one with just MOH, Best Man and their significant others.  Or have a "family" head table with just your parents, depending on your family dynamics.

Edit: What about a sweetheart table with wedding party tables on either side of it (including significant others)?
