Dance Lessons

MY FI does not want to go to dance lessons in the littlest bit. But I figured I'd look into it anyway. Where did you girls end up going? Do you think it was worth it?

I'm looking into this now too.  I found a bunch using yahoo search and I'm still looking into pricing/packages. Arthur Murray in Narberth offers the first lesson free and then designs a program around your experience/budget.

My hubby and I took lessons, and Im soooo glad we did!  I had been begging for almost a year, when he gave in...  The place I went with probably wont help, since Im in DE - but its seriously one of the best "extras" we did.  Even hubby agrees - we received alot of compliments, had we not took lessons, we would have been out doing the 8th grade sway :)

We did a group "wedding dance" class at Bucks County CC in the spring.  It taught us the basics for a bunch of different styles and helped us learn what we're good at (not much) and what we sucked at (mostly everything).  We took the style we liked -- swing -- and are now doing private lessons with the Bucks County CC teacher at her home.  She's choreographing our routine and it's been fun and helped tremendously.  Not that expensive either.  I recommend lessons!

We're taking lessons from a girl named Rubi who comes to the house as long as you're within 30 miles from Willow Grove. Rubifirstdance.com

We've been doing private lessons & group dances at Society Hill Dance Academy in Old City.  They are pricey, but it's been really fun, and really useful! We ended up there because I had a gift card and the first lesson was free.I would really recommend the lessons!
