Ceremony & Reception in Hotel Ballroom. Want a beach theme will it work?

What a pretty ballroom! I think you can still do a beach theme! You can tie in beachy colors in your linens and do beachy escort card holders, a beach theme cake, etc. It will totally work!

You can certainly do a beach theme.  Just because you are having it in a hall doesn't mean you can't have ANY theme you like.  It will totally work.  

There are some great sites with beach themed wedding items.  For instance, at your ceremony you could do a Sand Ceremony instead of a Unity Candle Ceremony. There are two small vases of sand (different color for each of you) and One large vase for you to pour the sand into.  Uniting the two of you.  I think it is so cute and very beachy.  I am planning on doing this.  As for your reception there are too many options to list.  

Oh and you can have a cake that looks like a sand castle.

i think you can do it with the right kind of "beachy" i could imagine keeping with the colors of the ballroom and giving your space a morrocan kind of beachy feel. gauzy fabrics, brights colors, and lots of candles in some sand or rocks would look really good.
