My caterer suggested that we do all speeches after dinner to not hold up food service though she said if really wanted to do speeches in between courses then to let her know and they can time the courses properly. We want to have the best man speech after the soup course, and then do the maid of honour speech after the salad course. How much time do you think we should tell her each speech will take? We can definitely give our speakers a time limit but I didn’t know what an average time would be. The emcee will quickly introduce each speaker as well.
