Ideas for Music....

When the guests arrive at the reception we are going to play a slideshow of pictures from our childhood all the wayh through to our engagement pics and I can't seem to find the PERFECT song! I want somthing mellow, sentimental, sweet, ect. Any ideas? Our recpetion is being held at our church right after the ceremony, and our church does not allow dancing so...just to give you an idea....(no KISS songs or anything =)

I don't have any ideas about your music, but the grammar policewoman that lives inside my head is making me point out that an apostrophe is not necessary in the title of your post. " 's" generally signifies possession, not plurality.

Im not going to get on you about misspellings because I do them all the time on here when I am typing too fast.

My suggestion: There is a country song that includes a lyric about a guy giving a girl his high school ring outside the Tastee Freeze.. i cant think of the name. Its a good one.

  • Dave Mathews Band is my favorite, non-dancing music.  I can't think of a specific song right now, but it's something to think about.

"All I Ask of You" or "Music of the Night" from Phantom.
  • A friend of mine did this for her wedding, and they used the song "In My Life" by The Beatles. It was super sweet!
Another suggestion: "Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts? Or another song could be "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colby Caillat.
    Good luck :)
  • If you love country, I could go on for hours, but Brad Paisley songs really touch my heart. Try listening to "She's Everything" "We Danced" and "Little Moments" and "Waitin on a Woman" I love brad because he has amazing love songs.

  • Step 1: Go to http://www.pandora.com
Step 2: Enter the name of an artist or song that you would like to use for the slideshow

    Done and done.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

That song is: "She's in love with a boy" by Trisha Yearwood.
