DJ for Mont.Co/BucksCo?

Anyone have some good recommendations for a DJ? I have some quotes from Sound Sensation, Synergetic Sounds, Magical Sight/Sound, Bill Sheivert and Laser Disc DJ. The quotes range from 595-1000 for 5 hours and I have no idea if I should keep looking? Is that the average price you ladies are finding? Thanks for the input!

That seems about right.  It's all about what you want in a DJ.  If you want another recommendation, No Macarena (aka Kim Alexander Walsh) DJed my wedding and was absolutely amazing.  She falls into that price range, and made announcements without being obtrusive.  We received a number of compliments that our wedding had the "best music" and "best playlist" of any wedding they had attended.  We had a lot of creative ideas for the music, and she did a great job incorporating them all.  That said, Synergetic Sounds seems to be a popular group here on the board, and the most important thing is finding a DJ that YOU click with.  Keep in mind that they're the vendor that will set the tone for the whole party

I went w/ Castle Entertainment..had 2 dj's and an mc for 5 hours.  It was $800 (b/c I struck up a deal where I hired him both for my company holiday party and my wedding).  I had to pay $100 or $200 for an extra hour for my reception.
