The guy that was baking my cake (for really, really cheap) got a job at a bakery and they won't let him do freelance work so he had to cancel on me. I am getting married December 17th. Everyone else I have gotten quotes from are more than twice what he was charging, which we did not budget for. So my question is - since a lot of people don't eat cake, do you think it would be a cute idea to just get a small maybe 2 tier or small 3 tier cake and then do fun desserts either on the dessert table or even on the guests tables like the new cake pops and christmas cookies and all, since it is a Christmas wedding?
