I am looking to have an elegantly rustic reception. In my head, I see an old barn filled with white lights and mason jar with candles and flowers for centerpieces. My issue is I CANNOT find a barn type building anywhere nearby. I live in Powell, OH (near the Zoo), but we will be getting married in Urbana, OH, which is about 45mins away and is my FI hometown. It's a farming community and I was sure I could find what I was looking for there, but so far no luck. I did find one rustic looking cabin type banquet hall on a nearbye lake, it' looks beautiful, from what little information and photos were on the site. But I am frustrated because I have been playing phone tag with the proprietor for 2 weeks. grrrr. Just feel like I can't proceed withbthe bulk of my planning and details until I can get this part done. Driving me crazy. I hate the idea of sacrificing my vision just to get this planning underway, but seems like I might have to.
I am hoping that you ladies might be able to offer up some suggestions or advise to this new bride "on the edge". HELP!
