My reception is going to be on a riverboat. There are two different style receptions.
I can't decide on which style I prefer for my riverboat reception.
Riverboat Style: Features a delicious variety of delicacies served simultaneously on both levels enabling your guests to mingle, dance and enjoy an abundance of fine foods.
Traditional style: Features hors d'oeuvres served butler style along with a signature finger food table, which is displayed on the upper level for one hour. Dinner is served once all of your guests have been seated, they are then escorted to the buffet by table and may return as often as they wish.
I've been told by the banquet manager most do Riverboat Style, but I'm not so sure I like the idea of Riverboat over Traditional.
Has anyone ever attended a Riverboat reception? Any input is greatly appreciated.
