Ideas for kids

We are going to have 15 kids at our wedding, ranging in age from 15 to 1. I've found ways to keep the younger kids entertained (coloring books, puzzles, etc). In particular, looking for ideas to keep the three oldest--15, 15, and 13, all boys--entertained. I know the older girls will dance but I'm pretty sure the boys won't. What are boys in to at that age? Thanks.

Re: Ideas for kids

  • Video games and girls.

But in all honesty you really don't need to provide them with anything to keep them entertained.  You will be surprised how much fun kids have at weddings no matter what age they are.  Also, parents typically bring things along, especially for the younger kids, to keep them entertained if they think they will start to get bored or antsy.

  • The most I would do for kids that age would be a deck of cards on the table.
  • Thanks, ladies. I didn't even think of something as easy as a deck of cards. I was debating bringing the xbox or wii. As for the girls, all the kids are cousins so that won't be happening. lol.
  • meh-frankly if i had kids coming to my wedding the last thing id do is bring a video game for them to sit in front of the whole time.
for the older kids i agree-a deck of cards or even madlibs are enough. skip the video games or anything that will take them out of the reception.

  • My cousin bought a bunch of the travel sized games from Walmart, Monopoly, Connect Four, a deck of cards. They were like $3-$5 a piece and really kept kids (ages10-15) entertained.
