I'm getting married in 5 days!!! And I am a bossy control freak by nature -- I am an event planner. But, since it is my fiance's wedding too, he wanted to take part in the planning. His responsibility is to handle the drinks. Mind you - our venue doesn't provide ANYTHING. Our reception will be set up to resemble an Old Hollywood Supper Club with low lighting, intimate tables, red carpet, paparazzi, etc. Food will be a heavy appetizer buffet, wedding cake, groom cake, and candy buffet with an old fashioned popcorn machine.
Here's what he bought for drinks (don't laugh - just help):
2 HUGE bottles of Smirnoff Vodka
4 HUGE bottles of wine (moscato, chardonnay, merlot, merlot) - oh they are 3 different brands!!!
1 HUGE bottle of Crown Royal
1 48 pack of Bud Light
Seriously, what the hell??!!?!?!?! But I don't want to hurt his feelings, so what can I do to bring the class back to our wedding -- now I feel like we have just down graded to a country cookout - I'm wondering where the Kool-aid is. * And yes, he suggested Kool-aid for those who don't want alcohol!*
