My fiance and I are having our ceremony at 11am, cocktail "hour" from 11:15-12p, and then our reception will last only until 3:00pm. Our venue will not allow us to go past 3:00 for the reception since they have another event planned to start at 5:00.
My question is about the "grand exit." Since our reception is pretty short, I feel like we need something that signals the end of our reception, and gives everyone the hint that it's time to leave. I've looked into limos, vintage cars, etc. and it's all super expensive! We could ask our DJ to help wrap things up, but I don't want it to be anticlimactic. Anyone have a good suggestion on something cool-yet-cost-effective we could do?
Our wedding is at a waterfront restaurant just down the street from the beach.
