Bouquet Toss

Ok I have a question which may be a little dumb but I am clueles here lol...the bouqet you toss?...is it the actual bouquet you carry during the ceremony or is it one that you have made especially for the toss?  My mom is saying one thing and my MOH is telling me another so I'm confused now

Re: Bouquet Toss

  • If you have a bouquet made especially for the toss, why would you toss the other one?  If you're not going to keep the bouquet that you carried down the aisle, why bother getting a second one?  I guess I'm just not following the logic behind your confusion.  The bride's bouquet is for the bride.  The toss bouquet is for the toss.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • As pp mentioned, if you're not planning on preserving and keeping your bouquet then you may as well use the bouquet you carried for the ceremony for the toss. But if don't want to toss your actual bouquet talk to your florist and they will create a smaller "toss bouquet" for you. That's what I plan on doing and what I've seen my other married friends do for the toss. HTH!
  • Thanks for your responses! I had never planned on having a separate toss bouquet made in the first place or had I seen that done so that is where my confusion came from...I guess I was really just wanting to know what the norm was...
