Hello Ladies,

I am not new to TK but I would like to come out of lurking and post on this board. My wedding date is July 7, 2012 in Houston, Texas.

I wanted a summer wedding because this is the best time for me and FH to take 2 weeks off from work and go on a honeymoon. As of today we have been together for 3 years. Our relationship has not been easy so we are so happy that we are ready to become husband and wife. I never thought I would have a big traditional wedding and yet here I am. Planning a monster of a ball with 200+ guests and going all out. I'm so excited.

I look forward to reading more posts and hearing all of your wonderful ideas.

As of now we have booked:

Church
Reception Ballroom
Band
Photographer
caterer
I have my dress (at least one of my dresses, I'm wearing two)
Limos


I think I'm off to a pretty good start with the planning. LOL!

Well Hello, Welcome and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Thank you for taking the time out to introduce yourself and tell us a little about what you are planning. I am from NY and my wedding is July 29th(hopefully we won't have to change that date because of booked venues). You will find amazing women on the board that's so willing to help and offer positive feedback and also add more fab ideas to what you already have. I am still new but I came across some lovely people that you can communicate back and forth with. Good luck and I hope to see some posts from you.:-)

Here is my dress, I'll post a picture with me in it soon. I'm working out and I should be a perfect fit in a few more weeks. YAY!!!!
