I'm just looking for some help..
I'm getting married in November, it was a fast wedding. We've been together for almost 8 years, we are feeling that now is the time. Wedding is planned.
I'm focusing my attention on the reception. Which we've choosen to have in March of next year, it will be a delayed reception. We are also not wanting the "traditional" style. We are calling it a Reception Dinner.. We didn't want the traditional dances and little events, we wanted to invite everyone together, celebrate our marriage and enjoy the time together. We going to have a small wedding cake, so we'll have the "Cut the Cake" moment, but nothing else really along those lines.
I'm starting to re-think, that maybe we need a DJ, and the traditional dances.. but my fiance is saying we don't.. Is it ok to have just have a celebratory dinner?
Any thoughts?
