Centerpiece idea...what do you think?

Hey ladies! I was hoping to get opinions on my centerpiece idea. I'm planning to use 3 cylinder vases per table (1 6", 1 9", 1 10.5") with orchids in water and a floating candle on top. It will look something like the picture I included below but with a different color flower. Please let me know what you think!

One word of caution... check with your venue and make sure that they're in compliance with their fire code. My venue required ALL flames to be COMPLETELY enclosed in a hurricane style container, or have at least one inch of room over the top of the flame. It's a historic inn, so they might have stricter requirements than most, but we also just hosted an anniversary party for my parents and the hall didn't allow ANY candles at all.

But if your venue is cool with them, awesome plan.

I think it will look really nice in three different size vases. Ditto pp about candles, ours had to be enclosed.

I've always loved that look, go for it! I think it sets a delicate romantic look to the venue!

I love it.  We did something similar with colored stones and rose petals.  I sat the vases on those little round mirrors and the candle light really twinkled.
