Wedding cake table

I'm looking for some inspiration on how to decorate my wedding cake table. I don't want to just set the cake on the table w/ a few candles/flowers. Anyone have any resources?

We're framing wedding pics of our parents and grandparents and putting them along each side of the cake table. I'm also contemplating painting wooden letters to spell out LOVE in a shabby chic/cottage type style. Oh, and some fresh rose petals. lol

I made letters that spell out "We Do" and painted them in gold (one of our wedding colors) and glued pearls around the perimeter.
