Bridesmaid dresses color not sure

Hello my wedding is in September. My colors are chocolate and champagne. at first I wanted bridesmaid dresses to be champagne and my maid of honor dress chocolate.. Now I don't think that is a good idea. I want bridesmaid color dresses to be chocolate and maid of honor champagne... Not really sure right now. I kow I have time but I want to get this off my list...If I do champagne then I am thinking it will not look good with my dress being ivory and champagne... What do you all think?

It's possible to have ivory next to champagne and have it look great. Just compare the champagne color to your ivory dress in good light. Some champagnes will work. Some won't.

I actually really like nude/champagne colored dresses with ivory. I think that color combination is really soft and pretty. 

Like you said you do have time, but I'd collect some color samples of what you consider "champagne" to take when you dress shop - that color might vary designer to designer.

I had a diamond white dress and champagne dresses.  I considered chocolate or latte as well.  You could also do chocolate with a champagne sash or vice versa.  I wouldn't overthink it--whatever combo you pick will look great.

My sister wore ivory as a bride and we wore champagne.  It looked very pretty together.  My daughter was the flower girl and her sash was choclate.  These colors looked great together in pictures.

Thanks to everyone for your ideas on my colors I did chose to go with chocolate bridesmaid dressess and champagne for my Maiden of Honor and Maid of honor champgne top and chocolate bottom.
