I am in need of a few tips

Ok so i've picked out our site and am wondering if all you knotties have any tips on how to get them to lower their price. The price as is right now is fine ($750 for an entire day), but i'm thinking they can still do better. The place posts on their website their availability and i know that last year during the month we want they had like 3 events go on there and so far this year they have none during the month. things that are already included : full kitchen

Spotlights

Mounted Renkus Heinz speakers hooked up to

2 HD projector screens

5-disc CD changer with radio and iPod/MP3 player input

Blu-ray, DVD, and VHS video

DirecTV with XM music stations

A good old-fashioned record player

2 wireless mics

WiFi internet access

should i try to get maybe the day after to clean up or something like that? they don't cater or anything like that so (table etc.) rentals or food can't be negotiated in.

Re: I am in need of a few tips

  • oh i should add that the $750 is a flat fee for a wedding regardless of size. other wise any other party could come in and only pay the $250 minium for all the same services.
  • Yes, you can try to get them to lower their price or see if there is anything else they can add and include in the $750. Most companies are looking for revenue right now, so work with that. Go with the attitude you love their location and $750 is a chunk of your budget and you just need to make that $750 work harder for you. What else can they provide?
