Tent Reception - Flooring Yes or No??

We are having our wedding reception in a tent next May and I was wondering if any of you have done this as well and/or have recommendations on the subject of flooring? We can either have it on grass w/ a dance floor, lay carpet over the grass, or rent a plywood floor and lay that under carpet as well.. any opinions or words of wisdom would be much appreciated!! Thanks!!

Can you get "dance floor" type flooring all over? I think plywood with rugs over it would be a little odd, unless you're going for a mismatched, vintage type of look. 

I do not like walking in heels in grass, and even if I were wearing flats, trying to eat on a table that's sitting in grass isn't fun - ground isn't even and tables get wobbly.
