Big dress!!

So im getting married in florida in september, and my dress isnt hugely poofy but its not light at all,im startin to worry that im going to be far too hot in it, the weddings at 6pm but wer doing pics from 3....im jus7t wondering if anyone else has these worries or how your experience was wearing a big dress in a hot climate.

I wouldn't worry about it if you plan on keeping that dress and wearing it.  Maybe you want to consider doing an updo so your neck is cooler.  Carry a facial towel to clean up in case you sweat a little and just have your make up on you to touch up before the ceremony.

First off, BEAUTIFUL dress!! Really love it...

Honestly, I think you will be ok. No matter what you are wearing, you are def. going to be warm if you are out under the sun....and warm in general b/c it's your big day and you may be stressed/nervous/excited...and that won't help cool you off. So I say stick with the dress you love....don't worry about it too much....and hey, at least it is strapless and your armpits are free!

I love the dress and you are going to look amazing it it!!  I think you will be ok.  Be sure to wear an updo to keep your neck cool like pp said.  Other than that I think you will be fine.

I'm getting married in FL and doing a big dress too. Are you taking pictures outside?  We're doing most everything inside.  It will be the middle of July so not much will be outside but a few pictures. I'm not worried about it. I'm getting airbrush makeup so that it stays on all day even if I sweat and I'm getting an updo and she makes those curls super stiff so if I sweat, my hair won't come undone.  Just bring bottled water and maybe a small towel.  Everywhere has air conditioning so you should be fine.

I love your dress and think you'll be fine wearing it.  Yes, you will more than likely be hot, but I'm sure it will be manageable.

Ihonestly wouldn't worry too much about it.  Usually down by the beach(if that is where your getting married) there is a breeze.  I would get some of the oil absorbers from Mary Kay or similar product that removes the sweat but not the makeup. Make sure you have things around to touch up your hair and makeup if you are taking pictures that far in advance...Can I ask what part of FL are you getting married?

love the dress! I've seen brides wear more elaborate dresses for destination weddings and they all have made it through and have pictures to prove it :-) Like PP states, up-do is key.
