key west resorts?

I am in Day 1 of planning! AHHH! My fiance and I would like to plan a destination wedding in Key West. Does anyone have any suggestions of hotels or resorts that do beachside weddings?

Hi there! I'm a Key West bride, although I'm not working with a resort. Popular resorts for weddings are Ocean Key, Pier House, the Southernmost, the Hilton and the Marriott.Let me know if you have any other questions!

Congrats!!I am getting married November 6, 2010 at Ocean Key Resort. I was actually just there last weekend and I can answer any questions you may have.My advice is to book everything early. There are not a lot of vendors on the island and they book up fast.

This is my second marriage, and I wanted a very small beach wedding. I imagine there will be no more than 20 people.

I met with Aaron Wechter while I was in Key West. He is going to perform our ceremony, but he also plans smaller weddings. He was so nice and gave us a lot of good information. You should contact him.His website is http://www.aaronskeywestweddings.com/I also know of some girls on here that are getting married on the beach and then having a reception at a restaurant. I know some of the resorts have a minimum that you have to spend on food and beverage.
