NWR: water at resorts

Girls, I have just become extremely parnoid about the water/ice cubes at our AI that we are staying at in Nov!!!! It's the Wyndham, so an American company. But is the water even safe there? Let's be realistic I'm sure I'll be smelly and in the ocean 97% of the time. But, what about my on the rocks margaritas?

You'll be fine. I stayed at a few Riu Resorts in Mexico and drank a TON of frozen drinks and didn't get sick at all!

I broke down and drank the water in Jamaica 3 different trips and never got sick. I'm not sure about MX.

I've never had a problem when i've been in Mexico, or any other country for that matter, but my brother did have major issues in Mexico.  Plus at an AI Wyndham you should be fine.

You'll be fine. I've drank the water in Mexico before, honestly there's almost no way to get around ingesting their water - brushing your teeth & showering?? Resorts can't afford to have people getting sick from the water. On the other hand, almost any foreign (to you) country you visit and drink their water can make you a little sick because every region has different stuff in their water.

Thank you for putting my mind at ease. I was just on trip advisor and all the reviews say we can't flush the tp!! Is this true? Might be a rough trip with ffi

It would be wise to bring some Immodium with you just in case you need it.
