Packing sand ceremony supplies?

How do you think I should pack the sand for the sand ceremony? Should I put the sand into the jars before we go down there or pack them seperately and put the sand in the glass containers once we get there?

I would get plastic jars w/ screw on lids. I think that would minimize the chance of them breaking and spilling sand all over. But, I don't fly very much so someone else may have a better idea

I just put them in ziploc bags.  the resort put the sand into the containers for me.

I don't have a response for you, I decided not to do a sand ceremony because of the concerns transporting it there and back...but I had to butt in and say: You are sooo close!  Yay!

I just packed the sand in the packaging that I purchased it in and put it in the bottles when we got there.
