Your new bio looks awesome! I was wondering where Nic got his tie from? I love it! Thanks :)

Re: ***FutureMrs.H.***

  • Thank you! He got the tie at Men's Warehouse, but at the store, not online.
  • Oh I have one more question to ask you. I'm thinking of doing a candy bar and would like to use candy from Puerto Rico. Can you tell me what the names are? I need to see if I can find any local over here. Thanks!
  • We have a ton of different kinds of traditional candy. Tirijala is like a very sticky coconute paste. Kind of like a taffy, but stickier. Turron de coco, Mampostial, Pilones (like a loly pop), Pasta de Guayaba, Pasta de Mango, Coco Pina, Dulce de leche, Dulce de Coco, Dulce de Tamarindo. And many others. You should be able to ask around and find them real easy. Any fruit stand, plaza del mercado or small supermarket (colmado), should carry them.
  • Oh! And we also have cookies, bisquits and sweets breads.Coquitos, Polvorones, Cucas, Grajeas y mereguitos, pan dulce...all of those are delicious...yum!
  • There is a Puerto Rican bakery where I live. I'll ask them if they know of a local store in my area that carries the candies. Thanks again for your help :)
