Wedding CD labels?

So I downloaded the template from Avery and it is difficult to use because it's in WORD. Geez, I work so much better in Power Point. Anyone have any better ideas? I only want to make 10 or so cds and I really want to make pretty labels.Help!

Re: Wedding CD labels?

  • I bought avery labels for my photography CDs and dowloaded the free software it tells you about on the back. It's www.avery/media.com or something. I thought it was easier than word.
  • Huh, I wonder if that is different than what  I did. I just looked up the label number on Avery and downloaded the template. I didn't see any instructions. Thanks Alison!
  • Like PP i used the "Avery" software.  It works in Word, but this is sort of an aid and it's easier.  You can get it on their website.  Or, I would try creating a mock CD label in PP with the circle tool.
  • I used word to print everything because thats how it was set up... but i created my artwork in ppt and paint - then just made an image and pasted it in the box on the word document. there are pictures of my CDs in my bio! let me know if you need any other help - this was my first (and really only) DIY project so I bet I could help... :-)
  • I made 2 inch round circle stickers on avery. I found it to be much easier to work with than word. It took me awhile to find the live templet online but once I got to the right spot they had a program right there, I was able to insert my own pics. HTH
  • If these download suggestions don't work, just let me know. I've got a label maker for my photographer business and I will do them and mail them to you.
