Taking items abroad

Hi Ladies,Does anyone plan on taking thier own DIY centerpieces or table runners? Even your own cake topper & cuttting set? Do you know how to pack these items? OR even if the Sandals resorts are accomodating to you using your own stuff?

Re: Taking items abroad

  • I'm no help, but I would love to see the answer to this question! (PS. We'll both be in St Lucia at the same time!!)
  • That's exciting! Are you staying at one of the Sandals resorts also? If so, that would be cool to get together for a quick drink. (I know we will both be busy with our guests and our new husbands!)  :-)
  • Most of the girls here have told me to pack my stuff in a rubbermade container and then seal it up with duck tape. Everyone has seemed to have success with this and I will probably try it too. I'm not taking my linens or centerpieces but I will be bringing sand ceremony stuff and photos, ect...
  • oh, p.s. Sandals is accomidating me with the flowers for my cake topper and a cake cutter. I'm going to use my purchased stuff for my AHR.
  • I am bringing my own silk bouquet and wedding topper. You are allowed those items, but as far as bringing other things, I think they might charge a fee? Those are really the only things that I am bringing(so far lol) so I'm not 100% sure. But I can find out for you once my WC comes back online :)
