30 Day Shred

OMG!  I started this morning and I am already sore.  It has only been 3 hours.

Re: 30 Day Shred

  • aah!! yes!!!!! I was really sore for the first 2 or 3 days.. then only mildly sore... lol... KEEP IT UP! Tomorrow do it again and just work through the soreness... it honestly helped me more when I kept doing it then in the past where I took a break every other day... have fun!! :-D
  • Thanks for the advice.  I was thinking about doing it every other day.  Do you do the workout everyday?
  • Yup... every single morning. It gets kind of boring... but I mute the DVD and listen to music which helps... and I take off Sundays. Once I hit the actual 30-day mark I will probably take off a week and do some other DVDs and what not... then will probably start level 2 for 30 days. :-) I hope you start to see the same results I have! Its awesome!!
  • Ha! I wasn't sore at all the first day of --- then I woke up the next morning and OUCH!I'm doing every other day. I plan on jogging on the every other day. This morning was Day 2 for me - and it even hurt to drive to work!I worked through the pain this morning knowing it was only 20 minutes :)Keep me updated on your progress --- since we're starting at the same time!BTW --- what size weights are you girls using?

  • I'm interested and getting the shred. Those of you that are using it, do any of you go to the gym, too? I've bought some workout DVDs in the past (tae Bo and pilates, wii fit) but I can't seem to stick with any of those. Did any of you have that experience or what makes you stick with the shred? I really love going to the gym; do you think going to the gym and doing the shred would be ok?
  • I'm using 5 lb weights. But for one the one exercise where you do the side squats and lift the weights - I only use one. That one kills my arms!Natalie - I enjoy going to the gym too. I don't see any problem with working this dvd into your routine. Even the gym gets boring --- do the DVD a couple times a week when you don't want to go to the gym, but want to do something.
