Guests not staying at your resort?

Hi Brides,My boss is attending my wedding, but will be staying at another resort close to where my wedding is being held.  My question is, is it proper and customary to pay and arrange for her transportation to/from the wedding and welcome dinner?  My welcome dinner is off-site at another restaurant and I'm coordinating vans to take us to/from that dinner.  I will be paying for a day pass for her and her husband as my resort is an all-inclusive and they require it.Any info is appreciated!Kat

Re: Guests not staying at your resort?

  • Hmm, if you've already taken the time to research everything for everyone, you definitely don't have to pay.  For us, any guests staying outside of the resort are completely on their own including with their guest passes.  We just put too much effort in finding something that would suite all of our guests that it's their decision and dollar if they decide to stay elsewhere.
  • We had 1 family stay at a different resort and they arranged their own transportation to our resort. We did pay their guest pass that was required for the wedding day.
