anyone doing a slide show at the reception or rehersal dinner?

I want one so badly and have been working on our pictures but I was just informed this is so last year! Is it really? I thought it would be cute to show our baby pics, and we have been together 6 years and have been to alot of neat places together that I would love to share with our guest. But I don t want to be "SO LAST YEAR". Help.

I'll be having a slideshow on the wall at our AHR, with pics from the wedding, so those who weren't there can see them

We've been working on a slide show for our AHR for 2 weeks now.  ARRGGGHHH!!!  (And just realized last night that our computer doesn't have a DVD burner on it).  If someone told me that was "so last year" I would kick them right in the shin!We've put our songs to music and plan on playing it during the cocktail (half) hour.  We've got one slide show of just the 2 of us...(to "This is Us" ~ Emmylou Harris & Mark Knopfler) one of friends and us (to "Changes in Latitudes" ~ Jimmy Buffett)...and then more friends (to "Summer Breeze" ~ Seals & Crofts).  We'll add in the photos from Jamaica of friends...then us getting ready for the wedding...then our wedding ceremony video will begin...then we'll be announced and enter the hall...whew!  (this was also me thinking it all through and piecing it together as I wrote) ~SORRY this is soooooo long!My motto: screw 'em if they don't like it!  ~HA!

Forget them! Do what you want. Everyone loves slideshows. We are doing a slideshow for the AHR. We want to make sure everyone that missed the Jamaica can see pics of the wedding and planning.We were also having pics of us as kids. We are showing them during cocktails.
