For those of you having an AHR..

Are you combining the invite to include the DW and the AHR info/rsvp? I have some people who are invited to both, and others who are only invited to the AHR. For the people who are invited to both, I was thinking about combining them on one invite, with the RSVP card to have a section for the DW and then the AHR - although I dont know how to word it, or if that is tacky and i should just do 2 seperate ones... What did you do?!?! Thanks!!!

Re: For those of you having an AHR..

  • I'm sending out an invitation for for my DW seperate from the rest. It's only 30 invites so it's not too much. I'm sending out a seperate letter for the AHR. It's going to be an announcement and the AHR invite all in one. That way I don't have to send out announcements and invites and mail them seperately. That's too expensive for me!
  • I did two separate ones.... because its two separate events. It would get tricky to combine some of them and then send extras of one out... Hope this helps!!
  • Everyone that was invited to my AHR was also invited to the DW, so we included everything on one invitation.
  • We made 2 different invites, one for people invited to DW and AHR and one for AHR. HTH
  • We are doing 2 separate ones because we have two different guest lists and the AHR is 2 months after the wedding.  HTH

  • Definitely doing 2 sets of invites. Makes it is.  On my wedding invitations I may say something about the reception, just so they don't feel bad if they can't come to the wedding.
