I need some honesty - Pro Pics

I know I can be hard on myself, but I really am not happy with the majority of my pro-pics...I think I look ridiculous.  I'm VERY sad about that because pictures are so important to me.  What do you guys think?  I'm not looking for flattery!    Just honest opinions.  http://cancun-wedding-photography.com/my-website/sara-ben.htm

Honestly....... I think they are beautiful! The first time I saw my pro pics I was pretty disappointed too. But in a few days I started to fall in LOVE with them... They are wonderful! :-)

I'm so sad you don't like the pics. I think they turned out fantastic! I know they say we're our own worst critic, but you honestly look great and I really hope you start to like them. I'll be thrilled if mine turn out that nice!

Aw Sara I'm sorry you're diappointed in them I've only had a chance to look through some of them, but I really think you look great in most of them. Yes, there are a few that are not so flattering, but that's just because you were in the middle of talking or gesturing. I guarantee you each and every one of us will end up with several of those kinds of pics as well. It's unavoidable. In the meantime, don't be too hard on yourself. You really were a gorgeous bride and the pictures turned out lovely.

Honestly, there a couple pictures I think that don't look like "pro" pictures to me, but I also think a lot look amazing.  I think you looked beautiful, and that you have a lot of amazing pictures of your wedding day.

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed in them- but I think they look fabulous!  Everyone is bound to have some shots that don't turn out, but most of your's are beautiful and you look so beautiful in them.  We are our worst critics, so try not to be too hard on yourself!!!

I'm sorry you don't love them. You looked beautiful and there are some great shots. Yes, there were a few taken a moment late or too soon but you have a lot of good ones. I promise that in a few days and several more times of looking at them you'll love them more and more.

Hi Sara,  I'm a future Barcelo Bride!  I recognized it the minute I looked at your picutres!Are the photographers you used the in-house Barcelo photographers? I'm sorry you are disappointed in your pictures, but I think you and your husband look wonderful. I agree with Teresa that a few of them don't look like professional pictures, but still quite beautiful.  Have you seen any pictures your guests took?  You might like them too!

I am with pp.  We are all going to have pics that we do not like and we are all harder on ourselves than anyone else, but I like them.  The ones on the beach (just the two of you) are the ones I like the best!  I hope that you start to fall in love with them more everyday

Thanks everyone...I'm still not 100%, but maybe it is that I'm my own worst critic.  I will see what DH says...he will be brutally honest as well.!  I love (and hate) that about him.

You look beautiful!  Now for the bad = A lot of the pics look pretty fuzzy.  I'm wondering if they just have them in a low resolution for the website and they'll look better in person.

I think there are some really great pics in there The pic of him kissing your forehead when you guys are toasting and the pics of you guys kissing with the ocean in the background. Those are awesome - I have to confess, I didn't make it thru a lot of them, but I really do think you have some keepers! I hope you start to love them

I think you have a few that aren't a great as the others. You are being very hard on yourself. You look beautiful. I love the one with him kissing your forehead. Some do look as if they were taking off key a little but your photographer might have been trying to get action or natural shots. I love those kinds of pictures. I remember when I first looked at my wedding pics of my first husband and I. I thought I looked like a fat cow. Now I look at them and they were beautiful and I looked so skinny. LOL!!! Everyone kept saying I was crazy back then. I wish I looked like them now.

I'm sorry to hear that you're sad about your pictures.  You looked beautiful and there are some awesome shots there. Maybe the photog's style isn't as "polished" (for lack of a better word), but you look great! You do!!I agree with pp, there will probably be some pictrure that we think we don't look our best, but you know we women are really hard on ourselves.

You look gorgeous. I think some of the best ones are in the "Sara and Ben" folder. And I dont know you personally, but you look truely happy and glowing in them. Alos, have you gotten any from any family/friends? Sometimes those will be some of the best ones....
