Jamie!"I am at a power plant in Maryland for work today"I work at a power plant in Maryland! Where are you at? I'm in CEG, Brandon Shores in Glen Burnie.**Crossing my fingers that you are nearby so we can GTG for lunch or something**

Re: ***SimplyMistaken***

  • Wow, how awesome would THAT be!  I work for Exelon and am at Conowingo today-the hydro plant right over the PA border.  I just looked it up and it is about an hours drive.  Today I have high school students coming to get a tour of the plant and will unfortunately be with them until about 2PM.  Next time I am here I will let you know though!  I am a recruiter here, what do you do??  Maybe I can recruit you!  :)

  • Next time definitely let me know! We'll meet up somehwere in the middle and go out for a bite or something.I'm here on a field project I work for URS and we are doing an upgrade to the CEG plant. I'm a civil engineer, but I do Project Controls for the company (budget, cost control and scheduling).
  • Wow I am always looking for female engineers!  :)

  • ::Butting In:: Normailed - Is that the Brandon Shores on Ft. Smallwood or somewhere else?
  • "Brandon Shores on Ft. Smallwood"That's the one!
  • Too funny!  I grew up less than a mile from there!  I wasn't sure because I thought their address would be Curtis Bay or Baltimore not Glen Burnie.  FI and fish right across the creek from there all the time.  There's a place where the plant pushes warm water out and big fishys like to swim there ;)
  • LOL! That's funny...I know exactly where is that you go fishing...that's actually part of our project. And yes they use Baltimore as the address, but I usually say Glen Burnie, because it's the area where we usually go for lunch.
  • Yea, not much in that area.  Just the power plant and the poop plant.  I grew up right on the other side of the Stoney Creek bridge.
