Wedding processional and recessional

I do not want the typical Here comes the Bride song, just so not me. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get some wedding music with a caribbean feel to it, maybe even steel pan. I live in the darn caribbean and have been to all 3 music stores on the island and none of them have what I'm looking for. TIA!

Re: Wedding processional and recessional

  • Our processional was traditional. But for the recessional, we used "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.
  • "Is This Love" or "One Love" by Bob Marley?
  • For Hawaiian music, I just went into iTunes and searched for Hawaiian, and a bunch of options popped up.  When I'd click on one, you can see on the side of the screen other music that people who liked what you're looking at also liked, and Genius will also generate recommendations of similar music for you.  Or you can go to pandora.com, which is free internet radio, but you set up an account, and create your own "stations" for different genres, and you start by telling it what artist or song you like, then it system will generate "similar" artists to play for you - you click that you like them or don't and it will then select more music for you based on how you narrow down what you like and don't.  You could literally just start with Bob Marley (or some other Caribbean artist) and see what artists it considers to be similar.
