    I want to jump in on this with something random.  I saw you call yourselves Miss and Mr Firstname and I am wondering where you're from.  We do that here in Maryland but my parents are from NY and think it's totally bizarre.

    Mrs.McC - How funny. I always thought it was a southern thing. Here it's used mainly for women, though you do hear it for some men. It's a little less formal than Mrs Lastname, and more for younger people to their elders that they are allowed to be a little less formal with (e.g., used by a kid for their parents' best friends.) Though it's kinda weird, because all the guys I work with call me Miss Heather too now that I think about it! We're in Texas, just west of Houston in Katy (hometown of Clint Black and Renee Zelweger :)) On a side note, my baby sister just moved from Bear, DE right by the Maryland border down to Smyrna (by Dover). I'll be there in two weeks for her first baby shower! Hope the weather is as nice there as it has been here!
