I have a free moment so I thought I'd see what's on eveuones agenda for today. I work until 5 then going to my dads house for pizza. Him and his wife flew to Florida to pick up my step-moms 4yr old granddtr. the girls mother took off this summer and moved there without telling my dad and his wife or the girls dad (who is my step brother). My dad and his wife got married about 10 years ago so I'm not close to my step-brother at all. In fact I've only seen him 4 or 5 times and I met his dtr once. Anyway, my step- niece is with my dad for two weeks but stays with her dad on the weeksends because of his work schedule, so he is having us over for pizza to "meet her". Apparently my dad and his wife will fly to Florida to get her for holidays and 6 weeks in the summer so it's good for her to meet family. I made my first fitting apt for Friday, I'm excited to see my dress on me again. My bfs mom owns a bridal store and is the best seamstress I know so she is going to alter it for me. She is the only other person that knows about Hawaii!! She kept her promise not to tell her dtr, so far so good!

Jen- it seems like you can never get a break!  It makes me so mad when people treat kids like this. That's nice that your dad and stepmom are stepping up to the plate to provide for her.

Last night was a cheat dinner.  We went to Olive Garden and I had carbs and beer, I loved every minute of it!  Until I was done and was pretty sure I was having a heart attack.  I tried to file my taxes last night, and it said I only get back $52.  Um, what??  (deletes political rant)  It's work 3-11 for me today.  I seriously wish we would move so I could get a job with normal hours.  The town I live in has 3 main employers- Disney, Walmart, and the hotel I'm at.  I tried to do a post on everything I've made/booked, but my camera decided it was done working, and started blurring out pictures.  Guess It's a good thing I'm getting $52 back from my taxes! Wonder what type of camera I can buy for that.

If you can't tell I'm on a major coffee high and I'm all over the place.  I got some award winning snuggles from the dogs this morning and it warmed my heart

Hehe you're funny, Lindsay!!!  I hear ya on the political rant haha!  Did you vote yesterday in the promary?!!!  I was a bad citizen and did not... acutally I couldn't have b/c I'm registered independent haha.  Ok I feel better!  But I'll definitely be voting in the presidential election.

Today is my Monday (sigh!), so I'm here at work.  I have a customer right now who's getting close to closing that is a COMPLETE D-BAG!.. Like.... I've been in this business for 6+ years, and he might be the worst one I've ever dealt with!  He's coming in for his walk-thru today, so I'm really looking forward to that... NOT!

I've been getting some wedding stuff checked off that list, baby!!!!  Maybe I'll post my to do list here today ... Lindsay, I'd love to compare w/ you since our weddings are so close!

Good morning.  I'm at work today and then no real plans for the evening.  FI & I went to Lowes last night and they had Farmer's Almanac's there.  I check the weather for our date and it said warm and raining.  Appareantly October is supposed to have above normal precipitation.  We are going to look into renting the clubhouse at my parents HOA for everything.  We may just book in and cancel if we have to.  The cancellation fee is a whole $25 so we aren't that worried.

Jenn - I hope you have a good time tonght.  Let us know how the dress fitting goes.

Linsday - Just think at least you don't have to pay right?

Lindsay – I feel ya, I did my taxes this weekend and OWE $1100. Needless to say, I am not happy…

 

 

So happy it’s Wednesday! It’s supposed to be 61 here today, wowza. We are going out for drinks + dinner with our two friends who are moving back to MN tomorrow, sad face.

 

Oh and last night we were at Burlington and found a tie in our blue color so we bought it for FI. It was only $10! It was normally $65 (according to the tag).

Lindsay, I love OG! Yum! I hear ya about bad hours. I was a waitress for 12 years and I always worked the weekends, nites and holidays BUT I'd go back to that job if they could pay me the same as where I'm at and that will never happen! Emily glad your getting items checked off your list! Cathy now you will need to pOst the weather for everyone's date! Jk Lora its supposed to be 60 here too, it's nuts!!! Awesome news on the tie!

Ugh Lora that totally sucks! I did my taxes yesterday and I qualified for a credit for my schooling so I am gettitng a refund of $2621!!!!  I am so happy because I have been stressing about money for the wedding and this is $1600 more then I was expecting which is HUGE!  This helps us so much and I won't have to cut anything!

Today I am working my usual shift.  I am a bit worried because I ordered an outfit from victorias secret for my B-pics and it was estimated to be delievered on monday, but it came today.  That is great but if FI gets the mail and sees I have a package from them he might get suspicious lol!  Hopefully he forgets the mail today!  Otherwise not much happening with me just dinner and working out tonight!  Have a great day ladies!
