How far in advance did you/are planning to...

Hi ladies!!

Order your wedding bands/ book HM (if in different location then ceremony)/ purchase flights/ pick out groom's attire and GM's/purchase BM gifts?

I'm trying to see if I can put one or two of these off for a bit. I'm so overwhelmed! Blah!

Sarah, we haven't done any of that yet and we're almost 4 months out. I would have like to have done it sooner but we're waiting on our tax returned before we can really do the big ticket items. We have it all picked out though.

Our airfare, we're waiting until prices go down. If they don't we'll pull the trigger at least two months out. I'm REALLY upset by airfare pricing right now. Its pricing some of my guests right out of going!

So our tax refund should get here this month (IRS said...) and then that very moment I'll be calling my TA to book the honeymoon, take a trip down to the jeweler to order the rings and start discussion with FI on what gifts and price range he would like to stay within for the BP.

I have time on my side...but to make sure we got what we want we booked our HM but not airfare yet since it's so far out.  Our WB we wanted to get with our tax return, but things didn't work out.  So hopefully next February we'll get 'em.  As for gifts, I'm just gathering ideas and if I see things at a deal I may get them.  Good luck and don't forget to breathe!

We bought fi's band and my band all at once when he got my engagement ring.  Right now we're shopping for fi's suit and we're 6 months out. Our gift to our wedding party was paying for their wedding day attire.

I am less than 2 months out and I have -

wedding bands - I have mine (came with e-ring as set) and just picked up FI's to find out it has to be sized, which I'll be taking to the mall saturday
book HM - just made last pmt a couple weeks ago
purchase flights - I used miles so I had to get those early, but my dad is mad because he got his flights a month ago and their about $100 cheaper now
pick out groom's attire - FI currently has no shirt for the wedding, it's the thing I'm most freaking out about right now, his pants need to be hemmed (thank god my mom's a seamstress) and he has no sandals
I just bought my sisters gifts (honorary bridesmaids, no walking, no bouquets, but the get the presents)

You have plenty of time... I think your fine.  (myself, I think I'm going to be scrambling until the last minute, but it is what it is)

I am less than a month away and we just got our wedding bands last week, FI just figured out his outfit and ordered it this past weekend so it better fit when it comes!!

I did flights in April because we were watching them and the price kept going higher and lower, so once it seemed to stay low we booked it before it went high again.

I got my BM gifts when I would find stuff randomly (along with OOT bag stuff) and of course Fi still has to get his best man a gift...but that is his department!

We bought our wedding bands about 3-4 weeks before we left. We booked our wedding trip/honeymoon, including flights, (just one trip) 5 months out. I think Matthew picked out his attire about 2 months out.
