I am sitting here posting because I can't sleep. Why can't I sleep? Because FI and I were woken up by our smoke detector going off. No there wasn't a fire but the was water pouring out of the detector that wasn't going off. The water was coming down the walls and into an outlet. I couldn't even get hold of maintenance because it was going to Voicemail at the leasing office. Man are they going to get some nasty messages tomorrow! We finally got hold of someone and they came over. The guy said there was nothing he could do until the morning as it had stopped leaking. Then he looked at another spot on the ceiling in the bedroom that we had been complaining about and said that it looked like BLACK MOLD. FML!!! Sorry for the rant but thanks for listening.
